The Awareness That This Will Become a Memory

Someone else I know recently spoke of memory in a way that I had never contemplated before. How we may deploy memory intentionally and nurture those memories that will best serve in the days ahead. That one day memory will be our primary perspective - something I hadn't really considered. For most of my life its been all about "the here and now" As if reflection on past moments don't bear thinking about - whilst I scurry to salvage every last vestige of utility from each moment. Perhaps its time to stop and smell the roses, and allow the fragrance to permeate and linger. Perhaps
