November 13, 2013Disaster Relief for the Phillipines
Attention around the world is focused on the disaster wrought by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
Haiyan, one of the strongest storms ever recorded, literally flattened the busy port of Tacloban (population 220,000) and an untold number of coastal villages as it swept through the central Philippines.
The extent of damage cannot yet be measured with any accuracy, but it is estimated that nearly 10,000 people have lost their lives, 620,000 have been displaced, and as many as 9.5 million are "affected" across nine regions of the country.
The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) will match up to $50,000 in donations to help the survivors. Please dig deep.
Click here to find out more about how you can make your donation. Thank you!
