Express the Love You Feel

give-yourself-a-foot-massage-af.jpg

Well, thanks for
taking the time
out of your busy day
to visit my blog.
I really do appreciate it.
But I believe there is someone
very close to you right now
who could really
use a hug,
or a cup of tea
or, better yet,
a 30 minute foot massage.
So... please gently
back away from the computer,
find the person I am speaking of,
and express
the love you feel.

Ah...that one for me, left this earth several years back..So I say, for anyone who IS so lucky: really appreciate what/who you have, while you have it!
We human beings are pretty transient.
I CAN give my lovely little cat a rub; but she definitely would not stand for that 30 minute foot massage (paw massage?)..&, only catnip tea will do!
I enjoy your blog. I share it with many, often.Thanks.

Valorie: Well then, who else might you reach out to? Who else might benefit from a random act of kindness? An unexpected visit? An unexpected call or gift or ride?

Hey folks. The definition of "very close" is up to you. For some of us, it might mean the next room. For others, across the street or up the road or the next town or in driving distance. What I am trying to get at is more authentic expressions of love -- physical/tangible ones -- not metaphysical or virtual ones. Yes, I know I am using FB to deliver this messge, but I also know you know what I mean. Reach out in practical ways to people in need. A friend. A family member. A neighbor. A stranger. Someone!
