Interesting presentation, and in line with some of the research that I've done that indicates that ALL our ideas come to us in the sleep state and then we "remember" them the next day when we engage in some kind of right brain type of activity. Cleese's creativity breaks, with their boundaries of time and space, might qualify as one of these access-the-right-brain remembering moments.
I also like what he says about people not knowing that they aren't really good at something. Interesting take on the "blind spot" and might help to explain contemporary politics.
